Photography > Lake Keosauqua

Before constructing my large composite photographic works, I make a miniature model, often using small images cut from the contact sheet of the original negatives. This photograph of the model of Lake Keosauqua shows only one side of the double-sided piece, in which the individual frames from the contact sheet are glued back-to-back, sewn together with gray thread, and hung from a metal wire. On the reverse side, I have switched around individual frames of the composite to create a variation of the image.
